Nicecream with PB-what?!?!?!?!
There are some words for this yumminess such as Nicecream, Nana-Ice-Cream or just Banana Ice Cream…
And this is like the easiest and healthiest way of making Ice Cream by yourself. No ice machine or complicated ingredients needed – just frozen bananas and maybe some plant milk and thats it. No, not even sweetener has to be added 😀
Best thing as usual: you can use all kinds of frozen fruits ans berries to make your own homemade ice cream, you just need a good blender and that´s it.
And about this PB-Maple Swirl – the lovely Claire (Instagram: @plantifulsoul) inspired me to this and I just had to share it with you guys!
So it´s as simple as the Nicecream. You just use Peanut Butter Powder from e.g. Bell Plantation (PB2) and mix it with maple syrup and some water and you have a great, sweet and healthy sauce for your ice cream!
Ingredients for 1 Bowl:
3 frozen Bananas
~ 50 ml Almond Milk
2 tbsp PB2 from Bell Plantation (you can also use 1 tbsp of processed Peanut Butter)
2 tbsp Maple Syrup
Banana Slices, Almonds, Frozen Raspberries and Chia Seeds as toppings
In case you don´t have any frozen bananas in your freezer yet, make sure to peel them first and maybe even cut them into slices – your food processor will thank you 😉
However, before you blend the frozen bananas, make sure to prepare your toppings and your PB-Maple swirls as your nicecream would melt away 😀
For the swirl you just have to combine the PB2 powder with the maple syrup and add 1-2 tbsp water.
For the Nicecream just blend the frozen bananas together with some almond milk until it looks like Ice Cream 😀 How much milk your using depends on how you prefer the texture of your nicecream and how good your food processor is. You don´t necessarily need milk but I like it better.
That´s it – you fill the nicecream in your favourite bowl and top it with your swirl and choosen other toppings.
